Billy and Bette Loft / Our mission is a church planting organization that has started 118 churches in seven countries since 1979. We began our work in Puerto Rico and continued on to the Dominican Republic, Panama, Costa Rica, Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala and Nicaragua. While in Nicaragua we planted one of the largest Christian Churches in Central America in the capitol city of Managua. We are passionately committed to training new leaders to advance the Gospel message of Jesus. It is our determination to develop ministry in the major cities of Paraguay and Bolivia where there are currently no Christian Churches/Churches of Christ. We truly believe that God is opening new doors to these nations as He leads us to those people who will be the leaders for training.

The Lofts arrived in Paraguay in 2006 and since then have launched a successful Children's Ministry, Soccer Club and Small Groups. Billy and Bette along with their ministry partners Daniel and Renata Rodrigues are reaching people for Christ by living among the people and sharing in their daily lives. Working with the children has been the inroads to the adult relationships with the kids' parents.

While Billy and Bette Loft are on a short furlough in the States to raise awareness of and support for the mission, they are also putting together mission trips for the end of 2008 and into 2009! Pastors, ministry team leaders or members and all interested in participating should contact Billy SOON! Details will be released as available. The next trip will take place this December into January... dates are still being chosen, however, it would be sometime between December 26th and the second week of January. Not sure what a mission trip would include? Contact Billy about this as well. He would love to talk to you about the upcoming trips and the work being done to further the Lord's Kingdom.

The ministries in Nicaragua continue to thrive. The church started in Managua by the Lofts is one of the largest Christian churches in Central America. A ministry of this church is the Street Children's Ministry that gives food, education, medical care and help learning a trade to kids that are literally on the streets 20 or more hours a day.

The ministry in Spain is part of the Bill Loft Mission, the late Bill Loft and Ginny Loft's work. While Ginny is now back in the States due to medical issues, the work goes on in Spain under the leadership of Dr. Erick Gutierrez (originally from Nicaragua). Spain is the link between Europe and Africa. They work with a lot of Muslim immigrants and show them the love of God tangibly by teaching them the language and cultural skills.
